Hello Everyone,

I am having this strange problem where my PC won't boot once it is shut down for long. There will be no beep sound or anything. Just fans running inside. The motherboard power light is on though.
The only thing that worked for me to boot the system again is by removing and putting back some random components(ram, HDD, graphics card, front usb port etc.) Some time resetiing ram works, sometime Graphics card, sometimes resetting th CMOS and like that.

Please help me to narrow down the issue.

Note: Phenom II X6(not overclocked), ASUS M5A88-M EVO, 8Gb Hyperfury Ram, Sandisk SSD, WD HDD,
Bios is latest with default settings, RAM and graphics cards are new and working and no MEMtest errors.

Please help

UPDATE: I figured i don't need to break and assemble it, Now a days I just switch on the PC and it won't start as usual(just light of CPU and fan running) leave it like that for around 30 min, switch off for some time and start again and it starts fine . What might be the issue?

Hello, I have already tried benching it few times. Every time it starts when i Insert some different component(ram, HDD, CD Drive, Graphic card). One important thing i noticed though, I don't really have to remove and assemble the PC in order to make it run. Now a days I just switch on the PC and it won't start as usual(just light of CPU and fan running) leave it like that for around 30 min, switch off for some time and start again and it starts fine . Strange, right? What might be the problem?

That's the only thing I haven't tried, i don't have a spare PSU. Is it possible to check PSU health even if I don't have a spare one?
