I am getting BSOD after updating my BIOS.
I've tried clearing my CMOS by jumping it for 5 seconds (Clearing RTC). I've cleaned my GPU and Processor for dust. I've set the bios settings to Optimised Defaults. They didn't work.

The messages I mostly get are-
IRQL NOT LESS OR EQUAL
SYSTEM SERVICE EXCEPTION
DCP WATCHDOG VIOLATION.... only once though
ATTEMPTED WRITE TO READ ONLY MEMORY

And a few which I don't remember....

My specs are-
My motherboard is ASUS M5A97LE R2.0
AMD FX-8350
24 GB RAM- GSKILL Ripjaws
MSI NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 560 Ti Twin Frozer II
Corsair TX-750 PSU
1 TB Seagate HDD

[OS = Windows 10]

No.. I didn't have the problem at all before update. I updated because the change log mentioned that the system stability would improve.
Also, I read that downgrading the bios is not recommended.

A failed bios update can brick your motherboard.
That is why most will say to not update unless the update contains a fix that addresses your problem.

If you can get into the bios, your update probably worked.
Optimized defaults on some motherboards actually is an overclocking setting.
Is there some option that is a simple reset with stock clocks and ram settings?

If you can not get into the bios, your flash has failed, and you need to read your motherboard manual to find out what your recovery options are.
