So I'll try be quick so there's not too much to read. I bought an Elgato Game Capture HD60 to stream through OBS thinking my MacBook Pro with bootcamp windows could handle it, and surprise surprise it can't.
I currently have a mATX PC lying here LGA1150 socket with a pentium G3258 in it (it was a mini project a few years back). (PC is h81m-p33 mobo, 7850 2GB with 8GB DDR3)
I don't want to spend too much money with £270~ being the max.
Do I:
- a) build a cheap PC with an FX8350 in it (I have some parts here so looking at £270'ish)
- b) buy a Xeon 1231v3 and install it in my mATX PC I have here
- c) buy an intel core i7 4790 non-k model for mATX PC (already stretching budget, and don't want to shell out more than £300 for k model)
- d) buy an intel core i5 4690k for mATX PC
The aim is to stream at 1080/30fps occasionally with daily 720p/30fps streaming from an Elgato Game Capture HD60 through OBS.
I also don't want to use quicksync or the AMD vce.
Would really appreciate any help. If there's anything not on the list you guys think might be better then please let me know.
