Looking to add PCIE SSD

So right now I have a filled up standard 95gb available space ssd with Elderscrolls Online taking up most of it. I have a number of 250gb ssd's laying around if i wanted to clone the current 120gb drive if all I were after was more space for games. Ideally I would like just one drive for simplicity and do enjoy having just a single drive at capacity. I have seen these pcie ssd's that seem a tad expensive for something that I may not even notice any real world performance benefit, also they seem to have been around for a few years without really coming down in price or becoming more widely used. Does anyone know of upcoming or current drives like this that would make my future drive change a decent upgrade that can offer more speed, mainly just looking for a few second faster boot/game loading which is already pretty instantaneous. I am wondering if someone knows of a decent solution that may have recently came or is coming to market, better value than the current offerings, I don't need more than 250gb. Also i would like to use it as the main boot drive and I have heard this may not be possible with older boards. My motherboard is a : MSI B85-G43 GAMING (MS-7816)

Solution
Right now there isn't anything that offers faster response and/or load speed (other than a standalone RAMDisk), but Intel is working on a new solid state storage technology that will supposedly be several times faster than NAND flash which they call Optane (look up 3D XPoint).

sounds like you already have the kit you need. Add your spare 250gb ssd as a second drive and move Elderscrolls and any other games onto that. Keep your 120gb boot drive (windows and other programs) with plenty of free space on it (not games storage) for ssd provisioning which will extend its life as ssd's need spare space for wear levelling of the chips.
