Hello all,

I have had my PC a little over a year and I haven't had any problems with it up until now. My PC takes forever to boot up now. I have a EVGA Z97 Classifed mobo and a Samsung 850 evo 500gb with Windows 10. About 8 months ago I started realizing my PC is taking longer to start up but it wasn't a very big deal to me because it was just a couple seconds longer. However, recently every time I turn it on it will turn on and then it would just sit there and beep, showing my mobo's logo on the screen. It takes up to 45 seconds to get off the screen and constant beeping from the motherboard. Then, when it finally starts up my peripherals: keyboard, mouse, and audio interface isn't turning on or lighting up. It takes about 25 to 35 seconds for them to light up and turn on, so then I can log in to my PC. After that< everything run perfectly, boot times on games, loading applications, and stuff like that.

Things I've tried:
-Re-installing windows
-updating any and all drivers
-Switching BIOS channels on mobo

PC Specs:
-i7 4790k no OC
-32 gigs RAM Dominators
-GTX 980ti
-EVGA Z97 Classified mobo
-Samsung 850 evo 500gb

Have you run Samsung Magician on your SSD? If not that is the first thing I'd try in order to make sure your drive is still in good health.

The only other possibility that comes to mind from that behaviour is that your motherboard might be at fault.
