Hello everyone,
I've had my PC since 2014 and have an issue for quite some time now.
So here it is: out of random, while playing some games (and with some i mean, weirdly, only singleplayer games) my screen would turn black for about 2 to 3 seconds. After that it comes back like nothing happened. First I could still hear sound while the screen was black but today after changing the projector setting from 2 screens (desktops that is) to 1 I no longer hear any sound while this happens. I do not have 2 monitors btw. Also, I can see a DVI indicator on the top left corner when the screen comes back.
First this happened in multiple games like Skyrim and a few others, but now from what I could test it only happens with a few, mainly all Transformers games I have (maybe something to do with the engine all 3 games use, since it's always the same?).
Again, this happens at random times but only during gameplay (not when in the main menu). It might happen 2 minutes after starting the game or even 30 minutes I can never guess.
My drivers are all up to date. My fans don't increase or decrease speed while this happens. I can play games that require a lot more "power" than these with no problem.
I've seen a person with a similar problem saying that after changing his entire rig from one side of the room to the other (aka changing the power supply) fixed his problem tho I prefer to get some answers before doing any tests. Actually, regarding this supposed solution, I've checked several times that when unplugging something from some extensions that are plugged in the same power supply as of my pc's, my pc will lag for 2 seconds as if it had interference and can hear the sound as if I am taking something out of an usb port. Maybe I should really change the power supply?
Speeking of ports, I've checked and my monitor has all 3 ports, HDMI, DVI and VGA, tho I only have DVI and VGA cables plugged in.

Btw I am kind of a newbie in both this site (so excuse me if this shouldn't be here) and hardware/software related problems.

A fast answer would be appreciatted, so thank you in advanced!

Almost forgot, pc specs (only know these, can check others if needed):
Gpu: Nvidia geforce gtx 750ti
Cpu: intel i5-4440 3.1 ghz

Solution
Funny solution. After updating my graphics card today I noticed the monitor did the same thing as it usually did during gameplay (aka a Black Screen followed by the DVI notice). After testing the game for not even a minute (that's all it took for my game to give me a black screen) I closed the game, opened Nvidia 3D settings and goofed around a bit. After changing "multiple monitor accelaration" to "one monitor setting" and "power management mode" to "prefer maximum performance" BUMM opened the game aaaaand NO BLACK SCREEN!!! After playing for 20-30 min. no black screens at all! I am so happy!

Hope this helps anyone who gets this type of problem!
