Hello, so basically it's my first time mounting my own PC and basically I chose the following motherboard and CPU:
Gigabyte GA-X99-Designare EX
Intel Core i7-6850K (3.6 GHz)
They are supposed to be compatible right ?

Do you think that my MotherBoard got the BIOS already updated ?
And if I actually have to update it myself, how do I proceed?

It said this thing on pcpartpicker:
Some Intel X99 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Broadwell-E CPUs.

Btw I want to thank anyone who is taking their time to answer my stupid questions, but since it's my first build I'm nervous and I don't want to miss any detail.

By chance do you already have the board? Yes the board and that cpu are compatible. A bios update is fairly simple as most Boards now have a fail safe feature when updating the bios via USB. I would think if your just buying this board that the board would come with the current bios but this is not guaranteed. Again a bios flash is fairly simple just need a USB formatted to FAT32 with the bios file in the USB. There are many guides on how to flash a bios but don't worry to much about bios flashing for now if you get the new parts and it all goes just fine just leave it alone lol. The link I provided is Gigabytes guide to flashing bios also just to help you out.
