Fellow hardware people!
I currently own a super budget gaming rig composed all of secondhand parts for only 180 euros!
CPU:Intel Xeon x5460 quad core overclocked to 3.6Ghz (modded 771->775) 19euros
CPU Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO (25 euros)
GPU: Sapphire R9 280x (80 euros)
RAM: OCZ Reaper HPC DDR2 PC2-6400 (15euros)
MB: ASUS P5Q
40 euros are spent on a generic harddisk and some other minor cables
PSU: OCZ PPC Silencer 750 Quad Blue 750w (came supplied with the case which was free!)
The entire system build costed me only 180 euros which translates to roughly 190-200 dollars.
Pretty much running almost any game on the highest setting 40-60fps 1920*1080p resolution.
However I have a spare R9 280X lying around and would like to crossfire it!
Does anyone know of a 775 socket board supporting crossfire sufficiently (so at least 2 pcie 16x slots) and minimum of 8GB DDR2 RAM
