I am building a new comp and while trying to test everything my gpu doesn't turn on. Im using a VisionTek HD 7750 and my motherboard is a gigagbyte GA-970A-UD3P rev 2.0. The power supply, cpu, and hard dives all turn on just not my gpu. Do I have a faulty motherboard? Also my gpu does work in another computer.

Tried a 2nd gpu with motherboard a XFX 5450 has the same problem.

Solution
Alright then it is likely the motherboard then. Before you return it though, just try the ram and cpu if you can in another system just to eliminate any other variables.

Make sure that the pcie cables are properly plugged into the gpu. If so, try the psu in another system and see if the graphics card powers up with the pcie cables. If it doesnt, your pcie cables on your psu arent working and you need a new psu. Otherwise it is likely a problem with the motherboard and you should return it.
