Is this a good pc part list?

This is going to be the first pc i will make. I have a budget of $530.

can you tell me if my PSU is adequete and if i can overclock?
Also i will not use that cooler, i will use the Wraith cooler that comes with FX-6350.

Is this a good gaming pc to play skyrim, civ 6, crysis, on high (Not ultra)

Sorry it is not a very good PC. That cpu will not work very well with that motherboard. Even if it did, it wouldn't be as good as an i3 6100. That psu is also not very good. You could do better.

Yeah but i3 only has two cores and i will do more than gaming i will have to do schoolwork on there as well

how is the MOBO bad? lots of people say its ok for a beginner- if not can you recommend any

The XT is the only not recommendable XFX PSU.
Also the i3 has 2 cores but hyperthreading to 4 logical cores.
Also the FX is an old outdated platform whilst the i3-6000 series is state of the art and can process commands way better and faster than the FX.
If it's not video editing the i3 beats the FX in any task.

The i3 6100 is faster than the 6 core FXs in every single task. The i3's platform(the motherboard) is much newer or far more future proof.

There is literally no upside to building a new PC today with an old FX/AM3+.

That motherboard is not capable of powering a 125w cpu at full clock speeds. That combination will result is terrible terrible performance.

Looks good. It might be worth spending $10 more to get a motherboard with 4 RAM slots, to make future upgrades easier.

One more question even though this motherboard says it supports 2133mhz RAM, can i still put a 2400mhz ram in it and it will still work?
