Hi, I am trying to install Windows 10, I keep getting a 0x080070750 error, have 2 hard drives I have tried both, have tried 3 different USB sticks and 4 different versions of Windows 10. I keep getting the same error and have only got "faulty memory" as an alternative, unless its a very deep virus, as I have deleted everything on both my hard drives to get a fresh install. Can someone/anyone shed some light onto my dilemma please.

Solution
If you could put a Linux distro on a USB stick you could give it a try. Maybe try removing RAM sticks and use process of elimination to find the bad one.

Could be, that is why I'm trying to find a way to test my RAM, as I can't do a memory test without Windows, that I know of anyway. The RAM is also quite new so could it be damaged even though its newish?

I only have 1 8gb RAM stick, so I'm thinking thats the root of the problem, sadly I have no spares to try, I'll download Linux distro onto my laptop when I get home and throw that onto a USB stick. What is Distro btw?

Puppy Linux Slack 64 or Lubuntu are the best lightweight options.

I installed linux mint 18. Which seems to be working fine. Still can find a reason why i can't install Windows if i can install a Linux os. Very confused. Thanks for all you assistance so far!
