Can I physically change an on-board graphics card?

I'm thinking of upgrading my laptop since it would cheaper than buying a brand new one and I'd like to know if it would be possible to change the "graphics card" in it. The card is an Nvidia 310m and it seems to be completely stuck in place unlike the Intel i5-460m CPU which can be removed.

Only graphic cards that are slotted can be replaced. These cards use an MXM card slot. Since yours is soldered to the motherboard, it cannot be replaced.
