I've seen some options on Amazon with the gtx 1070, you think this 980 option is better than the rigs with the 1070s?

Sorry, those may of been under 1600, I would not mind paying 100$ more if the performance improvement was with it.

Well this laptop has same specs almost but it is a G-sync VR ready laptop with a 17.3 inch screen and a gtx 1060. It doesn't come with an ssd but It's a hundred dollars less so you could buy one and put ithem in. Seems like a better deal.

This one doesn't have Gsync but seems like a decent choice as well. Course I'm just going off price and specs not reviews or anything.

Everything else remaining the same, if you get a 1070 at $100 extra, you should certainly grab that.
