So this is my first PC build, I have a RM750x PSU. The motherboard uses the 24 pin connector. The end that plugs in to the PSU is an 18 pin and a 10 pin. My problem i got some really nice sleeved cables and the PSU end of the cable for this one is a 14 pin and a 10 pin. The 10 pin fits but the 14 pin has 2 empty slots on each side. My question is, will it hurt my system if I use the 14 pin in the 18 pin slot?
