USB headset sound through dell monitor

I have a dell monitor connected to my pc with a HDMI cable and i have a roccat kave XTD 5.1 digital headset and i would like my sound to come trough my monitor and through headset but when i connect my headset to one of my monitors usb ports it lights up but no sound comes out even if i have set my monitor to be my standard audio device
I have the same problem with having the sound come through my monitor when i have my ps3 connected to my monitor i can get sound through 3.5mm jack but not trough USB

Probably not. Simply put, monitors are not capable of installing the software necessary to output audio over USB.

If you're routing everything through your monitor, your best bet is a standard 3.5mm headset, which *would* work assuming your monitor has a 3.5mm audio output jack.

okay so there is no way to do it some monitor who support that :)
