Can i succesfully mod a powersupply for it to be naked and functional, essentially removing the case and fan from such power supply and use it "naked".
Does it work, is it dangerous to my components?(PSU would still be cooled by case fans)
I dont see anything wrong with it, but would really like confirmation.

PS: I have seen opened powersupplies before on old machines and AIO machines, and i have replaced fans from modern powersupplies. Ofc some of those old machines did have an external component for the power supply.
