At any given time I have several chrome tabs open which I switch between. Recently when I look at the tabs at top I often see a tab I don't recognize and when I go to it, its some advert or scam things like the "The brit method" whatever that is. Clicking back does nothing but if I click and hold on back I can see its because the tab has been redirected about 20 times, but it has come from a tab I originally opened. I have checked the program list and there is nothing I did not install, I had used malware bytes and my antivirus several times and nothing. I really don't know what to do about this but it has started happening to tabs I am actually viewing, suddenly it will just redirect to another advert. Does anyone else have any experience with this sort of problem?

you should make sure malwarebytes is updated and go and look for any toolbars and extensions that are installed
I updated Malwarebytes before scanning, I do have adblock installed but for some reason it was turned off, there are no extensions that I don't recognize either. I have turned adblock on now so I will see if that stops it, but even if it does, the root cause is still there, is there any way to find out what is causing it?
