Hi guys,
i need to buy 3 routers for a small business , for 1 room i will need 5/6 hosts, for other i will need 15/20 hosts, and for the other one 60/70 hots.
In all routers i will have a switch to divide in vlans.
I dont have the idea whats the best router and switch for the different chances.

Greetings and thanks!!

If you are really considering buying commercial cisco gear like cisco ASA firewalls you should call cisco and ask them to recommend a cisco partner. A local partner in your city will come out and give you recommendations for your problems. They will offer just equipment to fully installed and manged solutions, up to you which you pick but they will pretty much give you the design for free.

This is part of the reason the commercial line is so expensive it includes the partner support....this is true even if you would buy the equipment online from a authorized reseller. You might as well take advantage of the partner since you are paying for it even if you do not use it.

Be careful of buying used equipment you can many times not...

Thank you for the answers, but i didnt mentioned a detail.
The 3 routers are in different locations(cities) and they should all communicate through vpn.
Aditionaly there should be a firewall in outside.
So i would like to know which type of router, switch and firewall appliance should i buy for each building ( preferably cisco).

Please help :bounce:

Be careful of buying used equipment you can many times not put it on service contract or get any for of support. It is fine if you really know what you are doing which it appears you do not.
