Hardware Acceleration Issues

I have been running into some issues with my GPU lately. Any time I have hardware acceleration enabled, video becomes extremely pixelated. This happens on any site, whether it is YouTube or Twitch. In addition to that, I often need to reset my GPU because when the computer is on for awhile, the FPS I get in games is less than 20. This just happened when I booted up Battlefield 1 for the first time. No change in the in game settings, just a restart, and it now works fine. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Admirable

If that's the case I would say the CPU is the culprit. Gaming and streaming or browsing (thanks to those damn ads all over pages nowadays) together hit both the network and the CPU hard. Never mind the obvious hit to the GPU. WoWHead is a good example, I lose about 10% performance if I have that running in the background while I play WoW and I have a 1080. Ever since I upgraded to an i7 6700K I don't have as many problems browsing and streaming with other games in the background though, WoW is just stupidly piss poor optimized and punishes my GPU for it. It's not a terrible CPU but depending on how hard you are pushing games on your system with your specs it might not have the power to keep up. If you're not overclocking your CPU you should be. If you are it should be a matter of tweaking it.

I catch my CPU and RAM being used at 30% just browsing! And like I said I have a 6700K and 16GB RAM. I'm telling you those ads are killer. Streaming and gaming together is hard on systems.

This fixed the issue, and it has in the past, but whenever windows does its late night updates, that ruins it again. Think disabling Windows' automatic driver updates would help?
