new pc freezing problems

Hello , i recently built my gaming pc and it was working like a charm until couple hours ago while gaming for over 30 mins my pc totally freezed no response at all screen was on but frozen . Couldn't minimize /alt+f4 / or even ctrl alt del for task manager. The thing that worked was holding down power button for a few seconds for force shutdown.
this freezing occurs randomly ,sometimes happens once a day sometimes 2-3 , and sometimes not. it's really weird i don't know whats wrong, could it be hardware problem or windows/software problem?
also there was no overheating , temps of both cpu and gpu stayed below 63 c

My pc specs
Gigabyte h170 gaming 3
I7 6700 non k
Msi gtx 1060 gaming x 6g
16 gb ddr4 2133 gskill ram
128gb zotac ssd
2x500gb old laptop hard drives 7200rpm "formatted them after connecting both to new pc"
Psu is seasonic m12 620w evo edition
Win7 ultimate 64bit

i had issues first time installing windows , it had windows 8.1 at first time "before connecting the 2 drives" and then i wanted win7 so i installed it after couple attemps due to uefi and some problems faced me that i dont remember, now i have win7"after connecting the 2 drives " working fine with all updates.

also i forgot to mention a week ago i installed newly checked updates but noticed freezes with bsod happening everytime i game , so i did a system restore and the bsod never came back. so could this issue i am having is due to some updates i installed from windows at first??

I don't know what to say , did you installed a movie , a game or something like that from the internet ? Maybe you have a virus, it happends for me like , when i try to play CS:GO(or other game) i get the same fps if i test it but it looks like very low frame rate on the screen, it doesnt feel smooth. Try to run a scan with windows defender(full scan) or another anti-virus.

Pc is clean hdd is formated
Until now i have all drivers installed from motherboard site and csgo
Also i dont have frames issue the game is smooth 300+ fps no lags/drops
The freeze is unpredictable nothing pre it occurs .

Edit
Also i stress tested cpu for 10 mins . No throttles to clocks occured and temps never went over 70
The psu voltages was on average from
11.7 to 12.3 on 12 rail
3.3
And 4.9

Also used furmark to stress gpu for 30 mins temps never exceeded 69
