I'm trying to build a PC for video editing/ Photoshop etc. The main programs I use are Adobe Photoshop, After Effects, Premiere Pro, Blender (3D animation) and heavy web-browsing for work and school. I plan on connecting this to a 60in TV. If anyone can provide further input if this is a good build or if you have anything you would change. If you do recommend changes, why would those changes be more beneficial? Thanks in advance to all those who provide input. Price as close to $500 as possible.

Few words.

Whenever possible, always use 2 RAM sticks. This way you can run your RAM in dual channel which is much faster than using single stick. Also when one stick dies, you're left with another one. When using only 1 stick and when it dies, your entire system is down.

Went with 2x 8GB of RAM for your video editing build. Put in a much better PSU and went with a cheaper case and MoBo to bring down the cost.

Your GPU has DVI-I, HDMI and Display Port connectors. Any of those three will do. But do note that HDMI connector usually won't work until you've installed the GPU drivers. Other than having a right display signal cable, there is no other accessories needed.
TV is just like a monitor, only it's usually bigger and can receive digital TV signals (DTV) to show public and commercial TV channels.
