Just wanted to get some feedback on a Video Editing Rig I'll be building for a family friend. Wants to be able to play games on a good 1440p monitor, and do a good amount of editing (hence the 32GB of RAM) Will also splurge on some Green and Black power cables and some Green LED Lighting

Any improvements or thoughts?

Solution
And if he wants to overclock by more then a couple hundred mhz then yes, aftermarket cooler, although I dont think that cooler will give you much more perofrmance for the money over a hyper 212 evo or cyrog.

Would stick with Samsung or Crucial for SSD drive.

Otherwise looks pretty good.

I've heard nothing but good things about this cooler. Supposed to perform close to an NH-D14/15, and isn't butt ugly :p

I'd look at a 1TB Samsung 850 EVO, save for the huge upcharge. I've had the Mushkin drives before and they've always performed well for me. I'll have a look at the 850 and see what it's like though.
