Full specs:
Motherboard: Asus P8Z77-m
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 3 GB
RAM: 8 GB (2x 4GB. One is Corsair, other I can't detemine, from old PC)
CPU: Intel i5-2500k
PSU: Super Flower SF-550P14HE (550 W)
2x HDD's (I think they were Western Digital, but I've taken the one that doesn't have the Windows on it out right now)

So my current issue is that I'm not getting any sound at all from my PC after building it. I did a completely clean reinstall of Windows 10 through its Reset feature on my main HDD and then put the components together. I got the motherboard second hand with the two RAM slots next to the CPU not working (I'm poor as f*** so deal with it) and it also came together with a sound card I can't determine the brand and model of. The shop I got it from say they got it like that too. When I plug something into the audio jack on the front panel or on the back of the CPU a window for some Asus sound configuration thing popping up so it recognizes the plugging in, but no sound is playing through it. When I connect the speakers to the sound card nothing happens, like it's disabled. In the Device Manager it shows it as if it has no drivers.

A few things here...

If you know you have a faulty motherboard than eventually this will need to be remedied. Unusual issues often stem from this, so just keep an eye on these types of occurrences and if they become too annoying you'll need to save up for a replacement.

This is hopefully the issue. Have you gone to the sound-cards website and downloaded/ installed the most recent drivers for the card?
