Hey all, so I just recently built myself a gaming computer without much computer knowledge to start out with. I did a good bit of research into what I wanted and decided to go with...

Motherboard- Gigabyte GA-H170-Gaming 3
Processor- Intel Pentium Processor G4500 Dual core
Graphics- EVGA GeForce GTX 960 4GB
RAM- Crucial Ballistix Sport 8GB Kit (4GBx2)

And from what I understand, from talking to other more knowledgeable people, this is not a bad setup. My only problem right now is that whenever I try to run a game, my CPU reads the games are taking up about 70%-90% of my processor. I usually play either Dark Souls 3, which crashes a lot or Warframe, which if I have anything up in the background slows my game to a leggy crawl.

I've tried a few simple tricks like reinstalling Dark Souls a couple times, and restarting my computer a few times. I have also tried installing the previous versing of my graphics drivers, deleted my current drivers and reinstalling them, and even having the reinstall run a clean install (all with computer restarts), but still the problem continues.

Any help would be appreciated, I have been tearing my hear out on this problem for a few days now. Thank you.

Solution
Intel Pentium Processor G4500 Dual core You can't run things in the background and game with that. You also need to list your power supply.
