16gb certainly helps. I never see more than 7.8gb usage system but that leaves little room!

I think to get the best experience:
-16 fb fast ram (upwards 2666)
-4 ghz intel quad or better (8350 also good performer)
-dx12 off for now
-gpu 1060/390/480/970 or above for ultra 1080p60+. 960/470 are fine for 1080p medium high.
A lot of people are experiencing performance drops in the multiplayer. I'm blaming it on 4core/thread CPU bottleneck along with a poor optimization of the multiplayer game.

My 4690k @ 4.3GHz even drops to 40fps with GTX 1060. (Low GPU usage, 100% CPU usage.)

Maybe find some YouTubers with an i7-2600k and see if they experience the same thing. I know I asked one guy with a Xeon E3-1231 V3 and he didnt' expereience anything below 60fps with GTX 1060 after 20hrs of gameplay.

I think it likes 16GB of RAM. *And for some reason, I was thinking OP had an i5-2500K this whole time. :/
