Today, for some reason, the sound on my PC ceased to work altogether. I cannot get sound to be produced by either my earbuds (through the audio jack) or my speakers. This leads me to believe that there is some sort of a driver issue. Right before the occurrence, I was doing two things: installing the latest version of a program called SOLIDWORKS, and while I was doing that I was prompted that a new update was available for some sort of driver on my PC. I was focused on updating SOLIDWORKS, so I ignored the driver update (and didn't note exactly what it was, except that it came from AMD). I eventually installed the driver update, and I was prompted that it failed, and my PC needed to restart. Upon restarting it, the sound was not working. How can I go about fixing this?
