do i lose anything if i get a x8 to each gpu ?

ill be using 2 so x8 x8 well i gain anything ?

rather then 1gpu x16 ?

While it's true that x16 x16 is better, the performance hit you will get from using x8 x8 is negligible. If you are thinking about buying 1 vs 2 cards I would recommend getting 1
