Hey guys so I have the weirdest problem ever... Today i decided to open my case and have a quick cleanup of all the components, when I put it all back together I discovered that the system was not working right. I was getting about 10 fps in games where I used to get 100/200, I reinstalled all video card drivers even using the amd cleanup tool, with no change and even restored windows to a few days before just to see if anything changed..

Anyways, somehow I managed to find out that when my tower is in the horizontal position, everything seems to work OK, maybe not 100% performance but its playable, but as soon as I turn the tower up straight, as it should be, frames drop down to 10 or below and eventually the computer just dies.

I'm just assuming the problem is on the video card.. I have absolutely no idea, it might be the PSU.

Thanks in advance for any help guys, attaching system info below

The only thing I can think of is your PSU. The cables, when sat the correct way, are fighting gravity more than them laying down.

Do you have a different PSU you can hook up and see if it performs the correct way? It just sounds like the power connectors are lose; thus resulting in it shutting down.
