i have an old 500GB WD5000LMVW external HDD. If i connect it to my computer it detects it and a drive letter is assigned but i am not able to access it. I was told, that if i connect it internally to the SATA in my desktop there may be a chance the computer could read the disc properly. I wanted to know if there's a way to connect it internally.
