So i recently swapped my powersuply due to the old one being 7+ years now, the old one was a 500-600W and the new one is a corsair 750 watts. Upon installing my new powersuply i had to connect everything up again, and in the proccess my SSD went into safemode and i hade to reboot that so i could open it again, now I have a single 120GB SSD for storage even tho i have connected my 2x 1TB HDD. The mother board won't find them, I've tried using different power cables for my SSD and HDD, and I've tried switching around on the SATA ports on the motherboard without any luck. I've tried changing it from ACHI to EDI, but then my windows(10) woudn't boot and i have to change back to ACHI to get it working again.

My motherboard is a Asus Maximus V|| Hero

Hey there, Vegard_2.

Do those drives even power up? Can you hear them spin or feel them vibrate when you turn on the computer? I'd suggest that you give them a go with a different computer, to see if they are recognized at least by the BIOS, because as of now you can't do anything with this PC, since the mobo can't "see" them. If you can get the computer to recognize them, you should backup your important data and test them with an HDD diagnostic tool.
Changing SATA mode should not have any affect on the fact that the drives are not recognized by the motherboard.

Please let me know how it goes.

Hello, guys. I'm currently facing the problem on a PC I've been using for games for about 2 years now. It booted fine until last week when out of nowhere it decided not to read the Hard Drive anymore. After a few attempts, it eventually read the HD and booted my Windows 10, but now it doesn't go anywhere.

I was told this could mean the HD is about to collapse or already collapsed.
Also, I'm about to test the HD on another Motherboard, as Boogieman suggested. I'll give feedback soon.
