Trouble deciding on an upgrade

Hi Guys,

I am thinking of upgrading my mobo.

Specs
ASRock 970DE3/U3S3
FX-6350 @ 4.5ghz (air cooled Zalman CNPS10X)
16GB ddr3 Patriot Black Mamba 1600
Gigabyte G1 R9 390X
64GB SSD
5 x 1TB 7200 Hdd
750 Corsair CX750 psu

I have had the CPU O/C for a while on air and am thinking I could push it a bit further (I don't really need to but I want to, I am starting to get enthusiastic about learning) but am concerned about the VRMs as the mobo has no heatsinks there.

I did think about installing some off the shelf sinks and a 4cm fan on the vrms but have heard mixed stories as to whether they are worthwhile. (1 guy even said the sticky pad failed and the heatsink dropped onto his gpu and killed it)

I am also looking at putting the ram up to 1866 or possibly 2133 as from previous experience with the Patriot ddr3 it does oc nicely.

I guess my real issue is that I don't really know where to go on the mobo side as budget is an issue.

The issue is, I look on google and find this

https://www.scan.co.uk/shop/computer-hardware/all/motherboards-amd/socket-am3plus-amd-970-990

Now, to my untrained eyes, this looks like a big wall of mobos and I have very little idea what to look for as my budget does not extend to any "high end" boards.

Anything worthwhile for under £100 that anyone can see or has experience with as an upgrade from my 970de3?

I'm guessing that as I am wanting to push the cpu up and also the ram, the power rails and vrms are the main issue.

Thanks in advance all.
