Blue screen after chaning Motherboard and CPU

I recently bought a Asus Z170-p and a intel i5 6600k and i get blue screen for a fraction when it's about to boot.
I plugged in the old motherboard/cpu and its now working fine. Is there any way for me to make the new mobo work without doing a reinstall (No cd input on the pc).

pretty much no way. lack of cd/dvd is no problem though since you can also use usb stick to do it.

Use old mb/cpu, download usb install media from MS, reinstall

and.. if you used OEM copy, be prepared to buy new license, tied to motherboard and all that.

If the O/S was the OEM variety then little is right the O/S is tied(married) to the motherboard. If however it is retail version you can install it on the new motherboard. Of course you need the code to activate it.
