I was just wondering if my pc parts would work together
cpu : fx-8350 (already have it)
cpu cooler : cooler master 212 evo
Motherboard : Msi 970 a gaming pro carbon atx
ram : 16 gb (give recommendation if you can)
ssd : intel 600p m.2 128gb type M key
hdd : seagate barracuda 1tb (already have it)
GPU : xfx rx 470 4gb rs
case : thermaltake v3 black edition (already have it)
PSU : I don't really know (give recommendation if you can)
fans : looking for 2 120mm fans (give recommendation if you can
btw i would need to know what kinds of screws i need to get for my motherboard. I only have 6 currently and i need 9 in total

Solution

There is no way I would secure a motherboard that has 9 spaces for screws with only 4. They are so easy to find and so cheap it would be silly to not secure the motherboard fully to the stand-offs.

Under $10...

Your parts all appear to be compatible. As for the RAM, try to find the cheapest DDR3 from local retailers. For the PSU buy one of 400W+ of a reputable brand. Also, don't buy any extra case fans. It won't affect temperature enough for it to be worth the extra cost and noise, as your case already comes with 1.

You don't need to use all the screws when installing the motherboard. Put in 4 to keep it secure.

I suggest you get yourself a PSU like:
XFX TS / PRO / CORE 450W
Corsair CXM 450 (no other CXM but the 450 / 550, the other units are older and utter junk)
Seasonic S12II / M12II 520W
Seasonic G 450W

if you're looking to overclock a 550W unit may come handy but isn't really necessary.

I'd add one more case fan.
either go with BeQuiet SilentWings, Noctua NF-S12(B) or a 120mm Cougar model. they all are sufficient and inaudible (cougar being the budget variant and not as high grade)

Your build would use ~350W so a 400W would give at least 50W of overclocking headroom, althought you could go for for a 450W. Don't get an extra case fan, they have little effect on cooling performance, even less from Noctua or BeQuiet which charge ridiculous amounts of money that is better spent on other better components.

you don't want to run your PSU at 100%.
you'd want it to be somewhere around 65-80% (depending on the quality of the PSU)

also case fans do in fact provide an edge in cooling. if it's necessary -- well best is to test without and order as needed. but a FX-8350 + GPU with only one fan in the case (and that at the back in this particular case) is not something I'd blindly recommend.

400 watts is too low to run that system, way too close to the max power. Seasonic M12II is a great lower cost power supply http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817151093

You also don't need to have your eyes open to cross a road either but it's a good idea. I would never tell someone building a system to not use all the screws, that's just bad adivce.

Cheaper and more power does not make for a better choice when it comes to power supplies. EVGA has good power supply models, but not the cheaper ones.

That's an incomparable analogy. I doubt anyone's ever broken anything by not putting in all the screws, and if they did, they were extremely careless.

Of course, use as many screws as you have, but you don't really need more then 4.

That is a Canadian price list prices are higher as well as exchange rate.
