I've been going back and forth on a bunch of components and this is what I need help deciding on:

Case: SILVERSTONE Black Aluminum / Plastic Grandia GD09B ATX
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811163257&ignorebbr=1

CPU: AMD A8-7600 Kaveri Quad-Core 3.1 GHz

MB: GIGABYTE GA-F2A88XN-WIFI FM2+ / FM2

memory: G.SKILL Sniper Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 2133
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820231518&ignorebbr=1

PSU: CORSAIR CX series CX500 500W 80 PLUS BRONZE
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139027&ignorebbr=1

I have a couple of SSDs lying around so no HD needed. The price, including shipping/taxes comes up to about $380.
When I started my search I was trying to keep it as cheap as possible. Am I missing something or is this roughly the cheapest I can go for a decent HTPC? It will be used for just streaming movies from my network drive, KODI, and a few other streaming apps (no plans for 4k in a near future). Eventually I will also use this as a brain unit for my home automation setup (homeseer).

I guess three questions/opinions:
what do you guys think of the build? (are there better options component wise)
Is this really the cheapest I can go without sacrificing quality/speed?
Is it worth going to an i3-6100 for my needs?

UPDATE:
Upon going back and forth, I think I'm still an Intel guy. I hope people will find this useful. I belive the setup on top is fine and will last (just replace the PSU per suggestion). However, me still being fixed on Intel products and doing quite a lot of reading I think I will end up going with the setup below. It is about 50$ more, but I think it's worth it.

PSU: EVGA 550 G2

Solution
Looks good. The A8 is perfect for HTPC uses. Even though this system would pull less than 100w, I would STILL get a more reliable psu. The CX500 is just not good. Look at a 300-350w Seasonic instead.

Thanks for the feedback, I'm actually very surprised to hear that corsair PSU is not that reliable, but have I have been out of the PC building world for about 3 years. Would this work better:
