GTX 1080 SLI won't max out 100% GPU usage.

so i just recently got my gtx 1080 strix sli and for some reason they will not go to 100% usage i have try'd disabling g sync and its in multiple games try'd witcher and bf1 i am on the latest drivers my specs are

5820k@4ghz
16gb ram
asus rampage v extreme
gtx 1080 strix sli
psu hx1000i

That shows that the games don't need to push your graphics to 100%. If your games are at a constant frame rate, then don't worry about it. It just means that your graphics doesn't need to be used to 100% for the game to run

. And since you have SLI, it's probably using the two at the same time.

Unless you notice stuttering or unusually low fps, I don't think you need to worry. The games just aren't pushing your gpus too hard.

I'd be surprised to ever see them hit 100% usage each. How far are you from 100%, how much FPS are you getting in games, and how high is your CPU usage in those games?

known pascal issue. Hit the nvidia forums and you'll find a few topics about it. People are hoping it will be fixed with a driver update soon but so far no cigar. I have the same problem.

cpu usage around 40-50% in bf1 i get more fps using 1 gpu than 2 but i stay easy above 60 fps witcher 3 im dropping below 60 sli or not the gpu usages vary between 50-80% there up and down never a constant
