I have an ASUS G551JW, Intel core I7, NVidia GTX 960M, Windows 10. A couple weeks ago I dropped my laptop, the disk cover popped off but I quickly put it back on. When I turned it on everything was fine except for flickering when I exert pressure on areas around the laptop, especially near the top of the keyboard. Then there is the laptop falling asleep. I feel that when my comp is having to use a bit of ram or when I'm playing some game while putting on music, the laptop falls to sleep, as if I pressed the power key in the corner. Does anyone know what's the problem and if I can do anything myself to fix it?

The flicker sounds like it's possible damage to the video cable, or it has become loose and it's causing the flicker when there is pressure or movement in the area of the cable connection.

As for going to sleep.... is it actually going into hibernate ( sleep mode ) or is is actually shutting down and you have to restart it?

It is as if I closed the lid. The computer does not actually restart, it just resumes off where it was before.
