So I recently purchased an i7 6700 16 gigs of RAM LGA 1151 motherboard as a combo. Bought it off of somebody who seemingly didn't know anything about computers bought it as a pre-build but never open the computer. I thought that it was a motherboard issue when I originally bought it and I decided that it was going to be OK I wanted to replace the motherboard anyways. I purchased a Z170-AR motherboard. After i transferred the CPU and ram I booted the pc. I'm still getting the same blue screen error's.I am able to boot into the bios and change settings. It Shows my CPU and my ram. One if the blue screens says Driver overran stack buffer.it says Preparing automatic repair sometimes and seemingly starts to boot then blue screens. The last thing I could think it is might be the ram. I haven't tested other ram yet but I will be this weekend.
These are all the blue screen errors.
Irql_not less _or_equal
Driver _overran_stack_buffer
And mutiple times it blue screens with no error.
System specs
i7-6700
2x8 gig sticks of ddr4 2133mghz
Asus z170-at mobo
Corsair hx850 power supply
I've checked the errors and I get no information on how to fix it if it doesn't boot to windows. Also I can't reinstall windows it just blue screens after I select windows 10 64bit

Solution
Hm. It blue screens even when you use W10 installation media?
I wouldn't expect it to boot into windows after a motherboard swap - too many driver conflicts. You're going to need to get a
fresh install.

Given that you're getting BSOD almost immediately out of the BIOS, I'm inclined to believe it is a problem with your system settings.

I get fairly random BSOD when my CPU voltage is too low. Is it possible for you to increase the CPU voltage to 1.35 and see if that doesn't resolve the problem?

It could also be your RAM, can you see if it has an XMP profile available in your BIOS? If it does have an XMP profile and wants a setting of 3000Mhz, back it down to something like 2500, for testing purposes.

Even when I try to boot a fresh copy of windows it still Blue screens.
I'll try to up the voltage on the CPU but I'm thinking it might be the ram. It's really bad ram. It's like Asus ram and it's cocked at 2133 and not sure if it will over clock.
