which adapter do i need gtx 1060

only have a DVI-d and a display port my 2nd monitor has a VGA port and HDMI port I was wondering if i need any specific kind of adapter to convert either the VGA to HDMI or the display port to HDMI

You only need active adapter is you plan on running more than 2 monitors at the same time from certain cards and only if they are all running the same type of connection. For example on my 7850 I could only run 3 displays from the mini displayport and hdmi if I had one active adapter. But I could run them all fine if I used one of each dp, hdmi, dvi.

With 2 monitors you will not have to worry.

For you, I would just run one dvi or dp to monitor 1 and one hdmi to monitor 2
