I built this computer roughly 2 years ago, and when I installed it I put both ram sticks in slots 3&4 and never questioned anything. recently I bought 2 additional sticks to bump my ram to 32gb and they just do not get recognized by my computer.

For some reason both of my A slots have issues with snapping into place, they do snap into place, but I need to force the snap end with my fingers while trying to lock them in. regardless though, any ram in those two slots do not work. I tried both slots with WORKING ram so it's not the ram itself.

The problem is that my motherboard is now 2 years old and I had not known that this was an issue since I never bothered to check these slots since I only had two sticks to begin with.

Since I probably can't ask for a replacment I am wondering if there is anyway to fix this issue on my end?

Solution
Do you have the latest BIOS? Do the new sticks work by themselves? Might try loosening the cooler then snug it down screw tight, Might be to tight in a corner or side and throwing the MC off. Could also try resetting the CMOS then try. A slight voltage increase to DRAM could help (up about + 0.05), last resort might be to check for bent/broken pins in the socket
