voip battlefield 1 xbox one controller

just need a little help with the battlefield 1 online chat,im using an xbox one controller to play using a usb cable,im on with two other lads but they are using keyboards,but my chat doesnt seem to work voip is on and i know you have to press alt tp talk on the keyboard but i cant assign a button on the controller in place of alt?just wondering is anyone doing the same thanks

That means you guys are on PC right? Then just use some 3rd party voip software like TeamSpeak for example, you can set your mic to "voice detection mode" that means whenever you talk your buddies will be able to hear you and you don't have to press a single button.
