Hard drives..I need some help Please

Ok...I need some help rebuilding my rig...I fried both my hard drives some how...
So i need to start over again from scratch
I've got a Asus VII hero board
4970 i7
16 gigs ram
I'm looking at a ssd for the os
And a 2t hd for storage

Can anyone Please send me links to some good drives....Ive been out of the game for a couple years

If you ask me, Samsung 2.5" SATA SSD's are way overpriced, 850 evo included. The 525GB Crucial MX300 or San Disk Ultra II 480Gb are much better value and basically perform the same.

These storage drives look good to me. I have a Samsung SSD just like the one you posted and I use mine as a OS drive and it works fine. The 2TB Hard Drive looks good however is it possible that you can get a new drive instead of a refurbished? Could you get something like a WD Blue 2TB or WB Black 2TB drive since those hard drives are the best in their class.

850 evo is a top class unit...go for it...

If there is a budget issue then go for a 120gb ssd instead of 250gb as ssds are more effective towards load times and OS operations than secondary storage, and 120gb is enough for that...
