Hello everyone! I have one serious and vague problem with my current motherboard.
So, 2 weeks ago I've sold my old RAM memory, it was Kingston HyperX Blu 1600 MHz CL9 (1x8GB). I decided to buy a new one Kingston HyperX Savage 2400MHz CL11(1x8GB). I put the RAM in, that's not a rocket science, everything is clear and good. But, then I have no display on my monitor! I turned off my PC, then turned it on again and this time I've got 3 long beeps and pause... Then again... I have tried putting some different RAM modules, like HyperX Genesis 1600 MHz CL9(1x4GB), with all possible combinations like 1x4, 2x4, 3x4, 4x4... Dual Channel with A1 - B1 slots, then same with A2 - B2, and all of the slots with a single module in... Then I swapped my current GPU with other, I've put that GPU in all of the 3 PCIe slots, actually I made all of the possible combinations with RAM and GPU and there was no screen at all! I noticed that Reset SW was not connected properly, it was - + instead of + -. I disconnected it and this time my PC showed a screen, but then when I turned it off and on again, there was no screen again... I reseated a Reset SW as it should be, and it's not working again... I've tried clearing CMOS and resetting battery, but again no signs of a picture...
So, after almost two weeks without PC and with this problem, I am really pissed off and I have no idea what the hell is going on!
I thought:
- Maybe my RAM is not compatible with my mobo (I think I cannot really see Savage code - HX324C11SR/8 on ASRock memory support list, but hey, there also wasn't old HyperX Blu code on ASRock support list and it was working)
- Maybe my motherboard can't support single channel 2400MHz memory (Maybe I have to make dual channel to get it working?)
- Maybe it can't make it's first boot with 2400MHz (I thought perhaps I have to go in a BIOS somehow with other RAM, to set default RAM speed to 1333MHz, and then put my Savage back in)
- Maybe my CPU is making a problem with memory speeds (I am using FX-8320 non-oc'ed)

I would really appreciate any help from you guys, as I said, after 2 weeks of "fighting" I have a headache and I simply have no idea what is going on, anymore!

Thanks in advance!

Hello,
I see you already done a lot of things, 3 long beeps mean no memory: http://www.asrock.com/support/faq.asp?id=286
Maybe try this method if you did not before.
Disconnect every not necessary devices like hdd, dvd, reset cable, hdd drive led cable ect... just leave the power button cable.
Remove ram, clean the slots, run your PC without ram, switch off, clear bios with battery, run PC again without ram, turn off, insert ram ( be sure it's well installed - press it a bit ) then run your PC again.

Problem solved!
Kingston HyperX Savage is not compatible with ASRock Fatal1ty 990FX Killer. A couple minutes ago, I put a Kingston HyperX Genesis and everything is working fine now! So, I am going to replace my Savage with Fury instead, and that will solve and close my current problem.
Thanks for the answer!
