I am having i5 3450 and DB75EN motherboard

Is there any way to tweak fan speed safely....:heink:

Solution
What kind of control do you need?

A simple manual control would be a zalman fanmate which has a knob to adjust a fixed speed.
Or, you can make/build speed reducing wires.

If you want dynamic control that adjusts speed based on cpu temperatures, that is what any motherboard is supposed to do.
The settings should be in the bios if there is any adjustability.

From a functional point of view, the stock cooler will do the job if it is installed well.
At idle, your temperatures should be 10-15c. over ambient.

If you want quieter operation, install an aftermarket cooler with a quieter 120mm fan.
The $30 Cryorig H7 is good.
