Hey everyone.
So I just had this weird problem. I was playing a game, when suddenly my computer turned off without a warning. When I tried to start it up again nothing happened, except for a single click from the PSU. If I hold the powerbutton for 5 seconds it clicks again, as if it turned off.
I have read some answers around on multiple forums, but I can't find an answer.
I have tried unplugging my hard drives, since that apparently posed a problem to some, and tried using a different power outlet.
When the PSU is connected to the poweroutlet the LED's on my motherboard are on, however, no fans spin at all.
When I press the power button a single fan lights up (it has LED's on it), but quickly stops again.

My specs are:
CPU i7 6700k
PSU EVGA Supernova 750 g2
GPU Gtx 970
Motherboard Asus z170 Pro Gaming
Ram 16 gb DDR4

If anyone can help me, I will be very happy.

Sounds like a bad PSU. You should try buying a new one and installing it. Based on your rig you should buy a 400W+ PSU, I recommend an Aerocool Integrator 500W, or Corsair CX430, the best choice of PSU depends on where you buy from.

I have now tried using a different psu. still the same.
I have however wondered. If I touch the metal parts of my pc, I get a tiny electrical shock. Could this be the problem? Could it be the PSU ensuring that nothing inside breaks?
Or is it just the Motherboard that is malfunctioning?

Okay, I have spent a few hours trying different things from all around the forums. I have isolated the problem to my gpu. If it is installed, the computer will not turn on, however, if it is not installed, it will work just fine... I have tried the different slots for it, other cables from the psu, and other outputs from the psu as well... So logically it must be the GPU that somehow got weird right?
