Well, my question is pretty simple, but a bit of background first. I've had a Kingston sv300s37a120g for almost two years, and recently I've started to question whether it's working properly or not. upon benchmarking it, I found that its read/write speed is less than 30% as fast as advertised (and after looking at reviews and benchmarks done by other consumers for the same SSD, it seems most people either get about as good or better speeds compared to the advertised speeds).
so my question is: am I doing something wrong? is there a step I'm missing in properly benchmarking my SSD?
as it stands, my SSD is getting the same write speed as my HDD. my knowledge is very limited in this department, but this really doesn't seem right.
