Recently, I've upgraded my Sapphire R9 280X Dual-X to MSI R9 290X GAMING 4G. The problem is, I do have the same performance of the old card.
Is my CPU cuzing bottleneck? or my PSU can't provide enough power ? cuzing the problem, or its just the 2 cards are so similar?!
Do I have to change my CPU as well?
Also, why my card temperature is 94 while I'm playing?

Temps should be lower than 94...check case cooling. You need VERY clean cable management and at least 2 intake/exhaust fans

CPU will be fine with that card

It is hard for us to advise on PSU if we don't know the model, but you must have at least 550w with a strong single 12V rail of at least 45amps.

I run a 290x with a 5 - 6 year old i7 980x EE OCed to 4.25. I play all my games at 2560 x 1440 MAXED with no problems at all. Your system should be able to run that better than you're getting now. Do you know what BIOS mode your 290x is in? There is a little switch along the edge of the card that switches modes. Atleast my XFX has that switch.

^Not sure what games you are playing bud, but my more-powerful 390 certainly wont max games I play at 1440p60!!

OP - psu bit low powered, could do with a decent 600w unit with a more amp'd 12v rail. The card is probably throttling due to temperature though.
