Need advice regarding dual channel in APU

Hello, ive built an affordable and a bit "upgradeable" multipurpose pc including some light gaming, actually it has the following:

APU A10 7870
1 x 8Gb Fury 1866
MSI A68h-e33 v2
Tt 500 W dual 12v

Im thinking adding another same 8gb mudule to get 128 bit bus so:

Will it give more performance regarding gaming?
Or it will not be noticeable?
Does having 16gb of ram worth?
May i save that money for a mid range dedicated gpu instead?
I dont really need high graphics as i play online fps mostly, on low settings at 1440x900.

Everything runs playable atm (35 - 45 fps average and the light games runs at 60+) but i would like to have if possible, stable fps around 50 - 60.

I dont have too much to spend for now so its one choice or other.

Try best as you can to get a duplicate 1x8GB stick to match the one you have. There is no guarantee that two different 1x8GB stick will play nice with each other though. It's usually not a problem.

Thanks for the quick reply! And yeah im gonna use the igpu for as long as i can.
I guessed that 16gb wouldnt make a diference regarding ram space for now, first i was planning to sell that 8gb then buy 2 x 4gb but since that board only has 2 dimm slots, 8gb may not be enough in some years
