My i5 3470 have worked without fan accidentally around couple of months. I just forget to plug it in after cleaning. I noticed 105C after several hours gaming. And it's without any visible effects. Question is: Will it continue to work normally? Cooler is on now of course.

I'm assuming you meant the fan, if it ran without a heatsink it would already be dead most likely.

That said, CPUs don't get partially damaged for the most part - their perfomance doesn't degrade - they just break.
So, if your PC boots up as normal then the CPU is just fine.
