Internet speed is much faster when tested with mobile

So I just upgraded to Cox Ultimate and they checked all incoming connections and they were all fine, upgraded modem to Arris Touchstone TG2472, When I run the test on my wired PC I get around 91 Mbps, when I test wireless with my Iphone 7 i get around 231 Mbps, There are 3 devices connected to the router (Xbox one, Roku, and my Iphone). So my question is, is there something I can change that is throttling my connection on PC?

Motherboard - G1 Sniper Z87
Power Supply - Corsair CX750M
Windows 10 Home
Driver version of Killer E2200 Gigabit Ethernet controller on MB is 9.0.0.37 which I updated yesterday.

See if you can change your local area network adapter settings from 100 to 1000

Ok so I assume you mean to configure and change the Speed/Duplex setting, I do not have a selection for anything higher than 100Mbps Half Duplex or Full Duplex, maybe the MB NIC does not support 1000Mbps?

first thing first are you sure your phone was testing through your wifi and not the cell tower?

Yes I made sure it was testing on Wifi. Do Mobile speeds actually get that high?

Ok so I started reading about people just having issues with the cable, I went and bought a new Cat6 cable and speeds are up above 400 Mbps now! thanks for everyones help on this!

really depends on the plan but mobile providers are known for deliberately leaving the connections for testing apps unmettered so people will get artificially high results. T-Mobiles was so blatant that one guy found out if you routed regular web pages through a service to make them look like a testing app you could get unlimited high speed internet.
