Hello, I was thinking about upgrading my processor my current one is kinda slow (i5-4460s I believe) and was going for the i5-4690. I'm just wondering if there's anything I should do before buying it. I checked that the socket match (LGA 1150) and it's compatible with my chipset (h81).
Is there anything else I need to check/do before buying it. I already have a good cooler,(maybe I dont even need one). Do you usually have to be wary of upgrading if it is the same generation of processors? Thanks!
